Sr Michael K K Kong is a Chartered Surveyor (UK), Registered Valuer and Estate Agent (M’sia), a Licensed Appraiser (S’pore), an International Certified Valuation Specialist (US) as well as a Certified Marine/Vessel Valuer (UK).
He is a Fellow of the Royal Institute of Surveyors, Malaysia (RISM), a member of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) UK, the Singapore Institute of Surveyors and Valuers (SISV) and the Vice President of the Association of Valuers & Property Consultants In Private Practice (PEPS). He is a Member of the International Association of Consultants, Valuators and Analyst (IACVA) US, an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) and a Consultant Valuer to Estate Exchange Consulting in Singapore. Michael is also presently an External Examination Moderator (Industrial Advisor) for the School of Built Environment, Imperia Institute of Technology.
Sr Michael began his career in valuation & property consultancy with Knight Frank Cheong Hock Chye & Baillieu (S) Pte Ltd upon graduation with B.Sc. (Hons) Estate Management from the National University of Singapore. Subsequently, he moved back to Kuala Lumpur to join a local property consultancy firm as the Head of Corporate Valuation Division. In 2006, he founded MacReal Valuers & Realtors Sdn Bhd which was subsequently changed to MacReal International Sdn Bhd.
During his tenure in Singapore, Sr Michael specialized in Property Tax Consultancy and International Project Marketing. His current areas of expertise include Plant & Machinery Valuation and Valuation of Real Estate for Corporate Exercises.
